New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is happy to share that John, who had been reported missing yesterday, has been located by police and is safe.
John was located in Downtown Vancouver at approximately 11:00 am. The New Westminster Police Department would like to thank the Vancouver Police Department for their assistance in finding John.
“This was the outcome we were all hoping for,” stated Media Relations Officer Sergeant Andrew Leaver. “This was a true team effort in locating John and reuniting him with his loved ones. Our deepest thanks to all the community members who lent a hand and looked for him.”
Additionally, the New Westminster Police Department would like to thank our partner agencies who assisted with the search: Delta Police Department, Burnaby RCMP, New Westminster Fire and Rescue Service, West Vancouver Police Department, Metro Vancouver Transit Police, and the Sechelt RCMP.
