New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is congratulating Sergeant Robson on recognition of his skills in complex criminal investigations. The recognition is overseen by the Office of the Investigative Standards and Practices of the BC RCMP. The accreditation as a Team Commander, which Sergeant Robson received in June 2022, involves hours of training, and demonstrating strict adherence to best practices in Major Case Management.
“We’re thankful that Sergeant Robson has been recognized with this accreditation as it maintains the high level of quality the residents of New Westminster have come to expect from the New Westminster Police Department,” stated Sergeant Justine Thom. “This accreditation is not an easy process to complete and the experience required to qualify is extensive. This further highlights the dedication and level of professionalism Sergeant Robson brings to the NWPD.”
Sergeant Robson has worked on complex criminal investigations for the past ten years. His experience includes time in the Street Crime Unit, Major Crime Unit, and Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, Lower Mainland Tactical Troop, and Emergency Response Team.
