New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is seeking public assistance in the search for missing person Jonas.
Jonas was last heard from on March 13, and he was last seen in the Sapperton neighbourhood of New Westminster. Jonas is described as 25 years old, standing 5’11” tall with a medium build, shoulder length hair and a moustache. Jonas may appear confused.
“We are asking the public to help us locate Jonas,” stated Sergeant Andrew Leaver. “Friends and family are very concerned for his well-being, and simply want to make sure he’s okay.”
Jonas may be using public transit or ferries to travel between Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island or the Southern Gulf Islands. Detectives ask anyone traveling this long weekend to please keep an eye out for Jonas.
Jonas does not have access to money, or a phone. Jonas may be in parks or around trails. If you know the whereabouts of Jonas please call 9-1-1.
